Corporations understand that maintaining fluid team dynamics is essential to efficiency and productivity in the workplace. Sailing Made Easy Team Building is a custom designed program that has proven to be extremely successful for participating companies. Experienced facilitators guide each team through a series of challenges while sailing, which emphasise the importance of teamwork, communication and co-operation.
Sailing Made Easy caters for Corporate groups from 4 people up to 40 providing Event Management, Team Building or just for a break with a difference.
Corporate Events
Corporate "Events" are organised sailing activities either with one boat or many in which the participants are engaged in challenges which facilitate co-operation, communication and teamwork. The "events" range from just learning to sail, through to a "match" racing situation where two or more identical yachts crewed by small groups race against each other.
The nature of sailing makes it ideal for team building. All the people on the boat have to co-operate to sail the boat, and with our experienced instructors we can ensure that no person "dominates", it is completely away from normal surroundings, outdoors, clean, and with a view. Because the experience is "different", and shared within the group, without any one person feeling threatened, it has been found that its value as a team building exercise is immeasurable.
The needs and skills of each Corporate Group are different, and Sailing Made Easy can design a program for Corporate Groups to suit the needs, schedule and wishes of each group. For that reason we are used to working with the person responsible to ensure that any Corporate Sailing or events are tailored to suit the group.

Macquarie Yacht Club has a fully licensed bar, with an excellent wine list.
The Saltwater Grill is fully equipped to cater for anything from snacks through to complete restaurant meals. Luncheon or dinner menus can be customised to suit your needs The following list gives an indication of the variety and prices. All the menus can be altered to suit individual tastes.

Sailing Made Easy
can cater for Corporate
Conferences for up to 30 people in a room designed for functions with TV,
Video, Whiteboards, Projector & Screen.
The room is separated from the rest of the LMYC facilities and is an ideal
location for a corporate or business function.
